Sri Wahyu TaherDrConsultant Family Medicine Specialist, Advanced Specialty in NCD in Primary Care

Dr. Sri Wahyu Taher is a Family Medicine Specialist with over 30 years of experience in primary healthcare. She began her career with the Ministry of Health Malaysia in 1993 and was appointed as a Family Medicine Specialist in 2000. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in the development of primary healthcare services, non-communicable disease (NCD) management, clinical research, and scientific publications, with more than 60 publications at both national and international levels. She served as President of the Family Medicine Specialists Association of Malaysia (FMSA) from 2018 to 2022 and currently chairs the Kedah Hospice Association. Since 2022, she has also been a member of the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC), contributing to various professional and medical education committees. Although she retired from the Ministry of Health Malaysia in December 2025, Dr. Sri Wahyu remains actively involved in family medicine, clinical research, medical education, and the advancement of primary and community healthcare services.
