Dr. Ahlam Naila Binti Kori is a Consultant Clinical Haematologist and Physician at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA), Kuantan, and currently serves as the Head of Clinical Haematology for the state of Pahang. As the sole clinical haematologist for the state, she provides specialist consultation and comprehensive management for patients with haematological malignancies, thalassaemia, haemophilia, bleeding disorders, and haemato-immunological conditions. Her clinical expertise includes chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, immunosuppressive treatment, factor replacement therapy, and inpatient and outpatient haemostasis services. She is actively involved in clinical haematology education, research, and national guideline development. She serves as a national trainer for Clinical Haematology subspecialty trainees and is involved in national clinical practice guideline working groups. Since 2009, she has participated in numerous industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated research projects covering malignant haematology, thalassaemia, haemophilia, immuno-haematology, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. She also contributes to the management of state and national haematology databases and quality indicators.
