Dr. Nur Atiqah binti Mohd Hanifah is a Paediatric Surgeon currently undergoing gazettement in the Department of Surgery at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA) in Kuantan, Pahang. Dr. Atiqah earned her MBBCh from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2015 and completed her Master in Paediatric Surgery at Universiti Malaya in 2026. Her clinical training spans accredited paediatric surgical centres across Malaysia, covering neonatal and general paediatric surgery, paediatric urology, surgical oncology, trauma and burns, as well as nutrition and intestinal failure care. Her primary academic interests centre on surgical outcomes, paediatric oncology, and clinician wellbeing. An active contributor to surgical research and global health initiatives, Dr. Atiqah has presented her work at local and international conferences, including the Global Initiative for Children's Surgery (GICS) in Bogotá, Colombia, and the Malaysian Association of Paediatric Surgeons (MAPS). She has also contributed as an investigator for the Global PaedSurg Research Collaboration on neonatal surgery. Beyond clinical practice and research, Dr. Atiqah is committed to medical education, outreach programs, and public health promotion.
