Dr. Mohd Shaiful Ehsan Bin Shalihin is a Family Medicine Specialist and Clinical Lecturer (DU15) in the Department of Family Medicine at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). His academic and research interests focus on community geriatrics, cognitive impairment, and improving the quality of life of older adults. He has been actively involved in several research and community-based projects, including FRGS and Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP) grants focusing on early identification of mild cognitive impairment, elderly quality of life, and developing support modules for informal caregivers of community-dwelling older people. His academic achievements include the IIUM Promising Academic Award 2024, KOM Young Research Award 2024, Young Academic Excellence Award, and Best Paper Award at the 1st ASEAN Conference on Shariah-Compliant Healthcare 2025.
