Dr. Raihan Binti Hassan is a Family Medicine Specialist with a special interest in Addiction Medicine and primary care. She has extensive experience in clinical service, medical education, mentorship, and programme development, with a strong focus on addiction treatment, non-communicable diseases, and community-based healthcare. She has also contributed to the development of the national OSCA (One-Stop Centre for Addiction) Guideline and currently serves as a committee member of the Malaysia Expert Group on Addiction (MEGA).
She is actively involved as a speaker, trainer, supervisor, and facilitator at national and international platforms, including conferences and academic forums across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. Her contributions include supervising Family Medicine Specialists undergoing subspecialty training in Addiction Medicine, developing diabetes education programmes, and leading innovative community initiatives. She was awarded the Subspecialty in Addiction Medicine in Primary Care by FMSA and has received recognition for her contributions to healthcare and community programmes.
