Allan Sia Ting ChanDrForensic Psychiatrist Specialist

Dr. Allan Sia Ting Chan is a Psychiatrist with extensive clinical and administrative experience in mental health services. He has worked across several psychiatric institutions in Malaysia and served as Specialist and Head of the Psychiatry Department at Hospital Lahad Datu from 2021 to 2023. He has experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and multidisciplinary management of complex psychiatric conditions, including patients with significant biological, psychological, and social needs. He is currently serving as a forensic psychiatrist in Hospital Permai Johor Bahru. He has also been actively involved in hospital administration, quality assurance, MSQH accreditation, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), and professional training. His clinical interests include complex psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychological interventions, with training in CBT, IPSRT, ACT, and DBT.
