Norlizsharrida Binti Zakaria is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with over a decade of clinical experience in Malaysia. She began her medical career as a House Officer at Tawau Hospital before serving as a Medical Officer in Beaufort Hospital and Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan. From 2019 to 2022, she practised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at SASMEC, IIUM, and has been serving as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan since 2023. Her areas of experience include maternal and fetal care, high-risk obstetrics, obstetric ultrasound, emergency obstetric management, and postpartum care. She has actively participated in professional courses, conferences, and academic activities, including Obstetric Life Saving Skills as a facilitator. She has also contributed to research on antenatal dexamethasone and micronutrient deficiency among pregnant women and newborns.
