Dr. Low Chee Koon obtained his MBBS from the International Medical University (IMU) and subsequently underwent specialist training in Internal Medicine, earning the MRCP (UK) in 2016. In 2025, he completed his Fellowship in Endocrinology and Diabetes under the Ministry of Health Malaysia. He was awarded the Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) in Endocrinology and Diabetes by the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom. Dr. Low is a strong advocate for the Diabetes Lifestyle Programme (DLP) and the Changing Diabetes in Children (CDiC) initiative. He is also a SCOPE-certified professional in obesity management. His clinical and research interests span diabetes, obesity, and endocrine disorders, and he has served as an investigator in major international clinical trials, including EMPA-KIDNEY and VALOR-CKD. Academically active, Dr. Low has published in the Journal of the ASEAN Federation of Endocrine Societies and is regularly invited to speak at medical education programmes. He is also actively involved in training and mentoring house officers, pharmacists, and postgraduate candidates in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine, contributing significantly to the development of future healthcare professionals.
